NEW MERCH DESIGN TO BENEFIT RELIEF EFFORTS IN HAITI
![]() From the moment we heard about the devastating earthquake in Haiti on January 12th we've wanted to figure out a way to participate in the relief efforts. With the help of the fine folks at Hello Merch, we have designed a new t-shirt. These shirts, which will be sold for $15 exclusively at SteelTrainMerch.com, will be printed on American Apparel shirts. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Oxfam's Haiti Earthquake Response Fund. Oxfam America has been on the ground in Haiti delivering clean water and sanitation to the people since the earthquake. For more information on Oxfam's efforts, not only on the ground in Haiti, but all over the globe, head over to Oxfam.org.

STEEL TRAIN'S CHRISTMAS VACATION ANNOUNCED
![]() We will be returning to Maxwell's in Hoboken, NJ, on December 29th and 30th for a very special two-night engagement at our home away from home. We have something special in store for these performances, as the band will be revisiting many chestnuts in our catalog. On December 29th, we will be performing songs from Trampoline and our new yet to be released record. On this night we will be debuting many new songs that we've been working on all year. How do we follow that up on December 30th, you ask? Evan (aka Clark Griswold, aka Santa Claus) and his elves, Jack, Daniel, Justin, and Jon, are currently putting together a list of their favorite tracks, both naughty and nice. The songs on this list will include Steel Train material from For You My Dear, Twilight Tales, Trampoline, 1969, unreleased b sides and demos and about 10 of our favorite covers. We will then ask you, the fans, to vote for your favorite songs from the selections offered. The band will pick the 15 most popular choices and craft a setlist from that material. We've never done anything like this before, so this will definatly be a magical night. We will send the ballot out to our mailing list first, so if you haven't yet signed up, get to it. We will then put the ballot up on our site for a limited time. Tickets are $13 per show in advance, and $15 per show if there are any left by the day of show and will go on sale on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 14th at NOON through Ticketweb.com. Also.... You can expect some very special guests on both nights.... See you all there!! Please note that these two shows will be the only NY/NJ area shows until at least May, 2010, so come out and celebrate the holidays Steel Train style.
